Improved website usability and developed a new visual concept
I worked with the funnel: home page → catalog → product card → cart
I held a kickoff meeting with the product, marketing, and development teams to explore the goals and constraints.
I also looked at the site’s current metrics to come up with a list of hypotheses for improvement.
After that all the team had a clear understanding what should we do.
I use Red dots method to flag usability problems on the site. I usually rely on my experience, but I can also do a corridor test.
To get inspired and find best practices, I studied competitors and came up with a list of mechanics that we can implement.
My goal was to make the site as clear as possible. There is a lot of graphics so layout and sizes should be expressive.
